Jenni Boyer

I am a fifth year undergraduate, and I study Environmental Science and Management with an emphasis in Geospatial Information Science. My interest in remote sensing began with Dr. Susan Ustin's introductory course and lab. I pursued that interest by asking Dr. Ustin to sponsor a research project aimed at determining relatedness between succulent species via spectral reflectance.
I started working with CSTARS in summer 2015 on the Delta project that studies invasive species in the California Delta. I am also working with CSTARS, and other collaborating scientists, to build a large scale and 3D map of Bay Area with Legos. I hope to combine my creativity and scientific background to find ways for utilizing and removing invasive plant species.
